Keke Palmer’s Sequin Cutout Dress at Critics Circle Awards

Fresh off her restful babymoon with boyfriend Darius Jackson, Keke Palmer is back to work. On Jan. 4, the “Nope” star attended the 2023 New York Film Critics Circle Awards in NYC, marking her first red carpet event since announcing her pregnancy on “Saturday Night Live.” Wearing a silver maxi dress embellished with illuminating sequins from Michael Kors Collection, the 29-year-old actor cradled her growing baby bump.

The eye-catching gown incorporated super-skinny straps and side cutouts that drew attention to the massive floral tattoo on her rib cage. Palmer, who worked with styling duo Wayman and Micah to curate her look, accessorized with matching silver platforms and a dainty assortment of jewelry including a necklace, bracelet, and earrings. Her sparkly appearance comes a day after she was spotted in another flattering dress at a “Nope” Q&A in NYC. On Jan. 3, she wore a knit lavender maxi with a halter

Always Be Aware of the Type of Ball to Don the Right Attire

There are various dress codes for balls. What to wear to a military ball differs from what to wear to a white tie, black tie, formal or semi-formal ball. Therefore, always check for the announced dress code.

Except for an Armed Forces Ball, the dress code might even differ from last time. The annual ball organized by the Fairbanks Ballroom Dancing Club, for instance, turned from a Black Tie event in the zero years to a Fairbanks Formal dress code in 2010s.

Knowing the dress code way ahead of

Jillian Mercado on Latinx Culture & Metaverse Fashion

Jillian Mercado, the 35-year-old model and “L-Word” actor, has been breaking barriers with nearly every career move she makes. And she’s just getting started, though she’s careful not to reveal too much too quickly.

“I hope more people are conscious of the disability community and incorporate our specific functions or needs when designing a collection or brand. We enjoy fashion as well.”

“I am working on creating something in the world of fashion for my community,” Mercado coyly tells POPSUGAR. “Nothing that I can talk about at the moment.” While she has to remain mum about her forthcoming fashion project (for now), she’s excited to dig into her involvement with Tercera Cultura. Translated into “third culture” in English, it’s the fifth part of Metaverse’s Culture Series, which examines the relationships between technology and those who have been traditionally left behind in the tech space.

“When the opportunity arrived, I
